Tyler, The Creator may have chilled out a lot since his early days terrorizing the music world and making hell out of it, but he’s still pretty naughty when he wants to be. I like it. Recently, ASAP Rocky seems to be the main target of his pranks. Tyer fell prey to his antics after struggling to get out of his pit while the Rolling Loud headliner moshed during his set recap. After trolling Rocky by turning his profile picture into a screenshot of Rocky’s anguished face from a video, Tyler upped the ante and printed the photo on Odd Future member Jasper Dolphin’s birthday cake. (Rocky’s birthday is next week, so I’m surprised it’s repeated).
A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator’s friendship seems both endearing and enduring as the two pester each other and repeatedly work together over the years. There was a bit of a troll war, and before that Tyler followed the Harlem rapper through the studio to share his joy when Rocky was released from prison in Sweden. There is also loyalty. While Rocky was locked up, Tyler vowed never to tour Sweden again.
