STATEN ISLAND, NY — This week’s “Best Dressed in Staten Island” feature is a picture of Staten Islander Virginia Gatturo’s 90th birthday party attended by the most important family and friends.
On December 16, 2022, son Vincent Gatturo and wife Diane Gatturo hosted an elegant soiree at Nino’s Restaurant in Grasmere.
“My mother-in-law, Virginia Gatturo, spent many years on dates at Nino’s restaurant with her loving husband, Vincent,” Diane said. “Agim Djencic and his staff have always made us feel like family.
“There is no better place to celebrate Virginia’s 90th birthday than to be surrounded by loving children, family and friends and to feel Vincent’s presence.”
Virginia is the widow of the late iconic Staten Islander Vincent Gaturro, who died in September 2017. Virginia’s granddaughter, Madison Gatturo, is 2023 Miss Her Richmond County.
“My Nana Virginia is so beautiful inside and out, and I couldn’t be happier to be able to celebrate her with family and friends,” Madison said. Yes, we are truly blessed to have her in our lives.”
