Leta She was born June 23, 1929, in her township of Wilmot, to the late Milton and Elmina (Kropp) Boshert. She is the loving mother of Terry (Debbie) Horst, Debbie (Brian) Lightheart and Scott (Sharon) Horst. She is Sara (Andrew) Braithwaite, Katherine Horst, Michael (Laura) Lightheart, Heather (Matt) Smith, Brett (Dana) Horst and Maddy Horst’s adored Nan/grandmother. Loving great-grandmother/great-grandmother of Lauren and Gavin Braithwaite, Noelle and Nash Lightheart, Evelyn and Iris Smith. Leta will be missed by her brother Bob (Pat) Boschart, her sister-in-law Effie her Boschert, her many nieces and nephews, and the Mayer family. She will also be fondly remembered by her many friends. After her death, she was reunited with her beloved husband Levi John Holst, her parents Milton and Elmina, her brother Belle, her sister-in-law Bernice, brother Gary, and brother Floyd. . Leta was a talented woman who enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and knitting. She couldn’t cook her chicken like she did, make roasts, bake pies and tarts. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and shuffleboarding and rarely missed her daily walks. Reta has volunteered at her Mennonite church WMA on Stirling Avenue, the tearoom at Nithview Home, and her MCC Thrift Store in New Her Hamburg. She is an avid traveler and she loved sharing stories about her many adventures. Leta was a long-time loyal member of the Stirling She-Avenue She-Mennonite Church. Her faith family inspired her. Above all, Leta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. Her visit wouldn’t be complete without a round of board games, dice, and Yahtzee. At her Leta’s request, cremation took place.
