Rust says there will be champagne, a birthday cake and drawings for a free art class. The party will also include an art show featuring JDS teacher artwork and class demonstrations to help potential students decide which classes they would like to take.
“We will have a catalog of classes available and allow attendees to register for classes as they attend the party,” says Rust.
At the end of the first year, JDS committee members reviewed student comments and data for 2022 and were pleased with the positive remarks.
“We found that both new and experienced artists found that small classes and tutoring led to a fun and productive experience. Most people were amazed at their growth, their connections with others, and the fun they had.
