Fairies, gnomes, and a variety of other small creatures frolic in exhibits themed around the four seasons of the year in the Linton Public Library’s oak display cases. Sponsored by Friends of the Library and created in collaboration with Ginger Anderson, Children’s and Teen’s Librarian, Nicole Hobbs, Children’s and Teen’s Library Assistant, and Linton Student Volunteer Emily Hayden, the exhibit opened in October 2018. , works that the trio found mostly in Linton’s shops, particularly Countrymouth. Some of the unique miniatures were handcrafted by library staff, and the seasonal backgrounds were painted by Hayden. The Fairy Garden exhibit is located in the Children/Young Adults section of the library.
