Kansas City, Missouri — Patrick Mahomes isn’t the only MVP in his family.
Variety KC considers Mahomes’ mother, Randi, to be one of their most valuable people, and for good reason.
Randy Mahomes celebrates his birthday by holding a fundraiser for his children’s charity.
Past fundraisers have helped pay for playgrounds that all children can enjoy together, like Tiffany Park. Donations in her name have also been used to purchase musical instruments, adaptive bicycles and wheelchairs.
Mahomes’ birthday is January 18th and she is once again hosting a fundraiser for Variety KC. She says the Variety KC kids have helped keep a special place in her heart.
“This is great and I want her to have a heart to give, so I’m going to share it with my daughter. I know both of her brothers have it,” Mahomes said. And Jackson gets me so excited when he’s with me. Patrick is very focused, but he mentions it and knows how much this charity means to me and his sister.
