Moss Fete Ram’s Horn Cap Review
rams horn cap
Moss Fete caters to whimsical minds and imaginative minds. Moss Fete is a branch of the Miss Fitt brand that offers “alternative trinkets” in the form of vintage and fantasy-inspired hats. Wendy, the company owner and artist, started specializing in handwoven hats in 2003, when her skills were on display.
The Rams Horn Cap is unique and carefully crafted with attention to detail. Mine is slightly different than what is shown on the website. It has a subtle ombre fade from warm maroon brown to medium hunter green. I would describe the horns as Elephant Gray but they are wired and poseable Moss Fete on his website describes the product as an ‘everyday hat with a twist’ but this is perfectly correct. It fits very comfortably and without the horns you might consider it a kind of high quality handmade beanie. add

[Coincidence? I think not. The day after I received the Rams Horn Cap, my husband had the privilege of meeting a real life ram and sent me this photo!]
Moss Fete items include vests, fingerless mittens, dragon scarves (if you want to be like Khaleesi?), classic cloches, wings, collars and more. What definitely caught my eye was Beauxbatons/Fleur Delacour/Harry potterInspired by the French blue witch hat and the Kraken cloche hat. The style choices are as diverse as the “critters” that Moss Fete creates (such as Tarantula Top Hat or Bunny Bowler).

[What kind of review would this be if I didn’t try the hat on my dog, Sophie Esmeralda? She’s looking very stoic and regal as she transforms into a ram.]
Check out Moss Fete and join them at their self-proclaimed “Fairy Party” at Booth #2274 during Comic-Con weekend, October 6-9. You can also visit their website at www.moss-fete.com.
