Kaguya-sama wants to tell you capped off a pretty significant year for the franchise with its feature-length debut that opened throughout Japan over the holiday season. The anime is gearing up for an even bigger 2023 for her with a special new poster celebrating New Year’s Day and Kaguya Shinomiya’s birthday. At the end of the anime’s third season, it was announced that the franchise would continue with a brand new feature film tackling the next major arc in the (now complete) Aka Akasaka manga series. I was able to confirm this overseas.
Kaguya-sama wants to tell you ~Love is War~First kiss without ending~ will premiere nationwide later this Winter 2023 season. That means an even bigger year ahead for the franchise. To mark the end of 2022, welcome a new year, and celebrate Kaguya Shinomiya’s January 1st birthday, the anime has released a special new poster featuring both Kaguya and Miyuki Shirogane. Kaguya-sama wants to tell you that love in 2023 is war
Although a specific release date for a US theatrical release has yet to be set, Kaguya-sama wants to tell you ~Love is War~First kiss without ending~ It will be screened sometime in February. It continues the classic “First Kiss That Never Ends” arc that begins at the end of the third season, so you’ll have to catch up on all three seasons of the animated TV series on Crunchyroll before diving into the movies.
