The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 211 calls for service between Friday, December 9th and Friday, December 16th. Below is an excerpt from the report.
Monday, December 12, 3:24 p.m. Port Hadlock reported mail theft in the 100 block of Cleveland Street. Mail was scattered around the neighborhood.
The theft occurred within the last 24 hours.
Monday, December 12, 4:06 p.m. Quilcene reported an unwanted person in the 200 block of Mossy Lane.
The Rapporteur said several people were staying at the property but now want to move out.
Unnecessary people were tenants and those who called were informed about the eviction process.
Tuesday, December 13, 9:20 am In Port Hadlock, a 100 block resident of Ness’s Corner Road reported a large amount of trash dumped on their private property.
Agents located the suspect’s name and address in a trash can and contacted them. They recently threw a birthday party at The Grange and said the family responsible for taking out the trash at The Grange had no idea how the trash was brought onto the premises.
The suspect contacted the resident so that the matter could be resolved.
Tuesday, December 13, 12:56 PM In Port Hadlock, a theft was reported on the 300 block of Chimacum Road.
Someone broke into the property and damaged the fence during the break-in. Agents were trying to determine what was stolen.
