The National Day Calendar describes the day as such.
From local, state, and federal, their duty is a devoted order. Work is often unrewarding and takes long periods of time away from the family. Little do they know what their days have in store for them. Law enforcement is often the only paid emergency resource a community has. We often work with other local, state, and federal organizations to make our communities safer.
