The singer took to Instagram to share a sensational bikini snap with her 14 million Instagram followers, showing off her super toned abs while smiling at the camera.
And in her lengthy caption looking back on the last year, she explained:
“This year, I spent more time walking alone than ever before”: Ellie Goulding looked back on the past year as she celebrated her 36th birthday this week, posting stunning bikini snaps on Instagram.
Smiling for the camera, Ellie looked gorgeous in a green bandeau bikini with a white floral design.
Her newly brunette locks were left to fall free as the star left her complexion makeup free and showed off her toned abs in the shot.
And sharing some “random thoughts” in the caption, the hitmaker celebrated all of the “little things” she’s accomplished over the past year.

Since welcoming son Arthur in 2021, Ellie recently revealed that she’s been suffering from very severe anxiety, making her “numb” and struggling with her mental health.
The Byrne diva told Stellar Magazine that she’s enjoying the rare moment of not panicking.
“I suffer from chronic anxiety, and even though I rarely have anxiety, I don’t feel anxious because I’m so happy and full of joy,” she said.
A rare insight: In January, Ellie revealed in an emotional social media post that she’s having trouble managing crippling anxiety after welcoming son Arthur Ever in 2021.
