Drake celebrated his mother Sandy Graham’s 75th birthday over the weekendhas shared some photos from the event on his Instagram account.
The 36-year-old made sure he captured the moment. It looked like a formal dinner party. Post photos of the event and Drake also wrote a heartfelt message.
“75 years,” Drake wrote. “Mom, thank you for supporting me for 9 months.…all the pain and suffering. You’re the only one who doesn’t know the pressure you’re under…Give you all my love,” he wrote before signing off as “Kalonji.”
The caption is a reference to Sizla Kalonji’s ‘Thank U Mamma’ released in 2002 and included on his album ‘Da Real Thing’. The song celebrates a mother’s strength and support.

Drake was recently in New York for two shows at the Apollo Theater. During his second performance, he saluted his mother, calling her his biggest fan.
The rapper took fans on a journey through his studio album, performing 42 different songs to please his fans. One of the set designs emulated Sandy’s childhood bedroom in his basement.
During that set, Drake performed “Over My Dead Body” from his 2011 album Take Care. While wearing a cardigan.
“The fact that I can still make music, and the fact that you still care.” Drake said at the end of the show. “Even after so many years, [Degrassi’s] Jimmy Brooks has somehow related to each other until now.
