Dominic Ansel received a special birthday present this year!
Renowned French pastry chef and wife Amy Marr welcomed their second baby, daughter Elise, together on Tuesday, January 3rd.
Ansel shared a glimpse of his baby girl on Instagram Wednesday, sharing a photo of him smiling and bottle-feeding the newborn.
“The best gift anyone could ask for on their birthday. Welcome to Elise’s world,” he captioned the shot.
The photo was accompanied by a video of the couple’s son, Celian, who is 2.5 years old, singing the Happy Birthday song, holding a cupcake with a candle in his hand and blowing it out when the song ends.

Ansel and Ma are gearing up for their son’s big brother duties, and last week shared a video on Instagram of Celian practicing cuddling a baby doll.
Celian called the baby doll Mei Mei (meaning sister in Mandarin) and rocked her in a chair.
“Are you going to put Meimei to sleep? Can you give Meimei a bizoo? Give him the bizoo and say ‘ju t’aime,'” Ma instructs the infant, who gladly obeys.
Ansel also shared some scenes of quality time with his little son last month, reflecting on the changes happening in his family.
Ansel reflected on how much his young son has grown, after sharing videos of Célian counting in French, kissing and marveling at Christmas trees.
“My boy – my last days as an only child before you become a big brother,” writes the 45-year-old Cronut creator. “You learn numbers in French and choose a Christmas tree together. , I ate kimchi jigae for the first time like a champion. Daddy is still your favorite.”
