This major change comes a few months after the brother’s grandmother, Queen Margrethe of Denmark, decided to strip her of her royal titles. am.
In September, the Danish royal family issued an official statement on behalf of the queen, revealing that the monarch had chosen to remove the titles of prince and princess from all four of his grandchildren.A new label was also announced at the same time. However, it was only now reflected on the site.
So why the sudden change? Well, the Queen wanted to “create a framework” for her grandchildren to “be able to shape their lives” without worrying about the special obligations that come with royal status. After that date, all four children will no longer hold their previous titles, but will retain their current position on the line of succession.
