Below, costume her designer Mitchell Travers talks about her inspiration points from 40 years of fashion and how she chose these country music icons to honor her icon’s work.
Step back in time in vintage country-western style

She liked a really simple style, with a little bit of form, a little bit of skin but never racy.”

By speaking with Jones’ costumed image maker, Travers discovered how keen the singer was to craft his own idea of country star style.
