Heads up
A true crowd favorite, the Head’s Up app makes party games simple. After downloading it, one person holds their phone to their head and selects a category (superstar, act it out, animal, etc.). The other players on that person’s team are given a set amount of time to define the word without actually pronouncing it while the phone displays the term for that category. The person nods in front of the phone and moves on to the next word. The team that gets the most words correct within the time limit wins.
two truths and a lie
This is the ideal game to play, especially after a few drinks, if you want to uncover your friend’s darkest secrets. An ideal party accessory for friends who share too much.
Each visitor must write two true things and one false thing about themselves on a piece of paper and fold it into a bowl. The presenter then randomly selects them and reads each one to the group. Then the person’s identity and the nature of the lie must be revealed to everyone.
charade
Everyone is familiar with the game of charades. It’s a timeless classic. First, divide the group into teams. Then have her one member of each team act out a scene from a book, movie, song, etc. while trying to guess what it is as quickly as possible. Choose this option only if you can accept your best friend’s screams. Because the more competitive your group is, the bigger it will be.
spirit
The app Psych is similar to Head’s Up. Once downloaded, enter the names of everyone you are playing with. The app then queries multiple players and requests each participant to answer anonymously. After each participant selects their favorite humorous answer to the question, the player with the most rounds won is declared the winner. It’s similar to Cards Against Humanity in some ways, but a bit more interactive as you can tailor the questions and answers to the players you’re playing with.
beer pong
Another timeless piece. Beer pong is when you use a ping pong ball to try to hit the contents of your opponent’s cup against the cup. Place six cups in a triangle shape on the edge of the kitchen table, counter, or ping-pong table. please. Is it okay if the ball bounces? Can you make contact with the rim? The team that gets the ball into every opponent’s cup before they do the same to you is the winner.
